The team at Dog Show HQ are working hard behind the scenes to put together a really exciting programme for you this year. Watch this space for further announcements.

We can't wait to meet you and your furry friends at this years PAWsome event where there will be lots of opPAWtunities for you, your family and your furry friends to have a great day out.
About
There will be a selection of classes, have-a-go activities including agility and gundog scurry (suitable for all), terrier racing, egg and spoon race, musical mats, Guide Dogs, stall holders, and refreshments.
Between handsome hound, fabulous female, golden oldie, best rescue, young handlers and more, we have classes for everyone! The full timetable of classes will be released soon.

Time: 10.30am - 3pm (registration open from 10am)

Location: The Recreation Ground (behind the Co-op), Burley In Wharfedale. We do have two car parking spaces for Blue Badge holders (access via Iron Row). Otherwise parking is available, free of charge, within the village.

Burley in Woofdale Dog Show 2024
Our fun dog show returns to Burley on Saturday 17th August and is packed with PAWsitively PAWsome events for you, your pooch and all the family! Don't forget to put the date in your diary and we'll see you there.
Gun Dog Scurry
What happens at a scurry?
Scurries are based on a dog’s ability to retrieve. This fun activity is open to all dogs of all abilities. Entry fee £2 for three goes (a practice run and 2 timed runs).

Typically the format of a scurry is:

At the command, your dog is sent to retrieve a 'dummy'. The timer is started once they cross over the start line.

The timer is stopped once they cross the line again.

The fastest dog wins!
Dog and owner fancy dress competition...
A great opPAWtunity for dogs and their owners to dress alike! Prizes awarded to the best pair.
