Join us for the 15th annual Burley Moor Run - organised as part of the Summer Festival.
Runners of all abilities, aged 16 and over, can expect a warm welcome and a personal challenge with a strong possibility of mud!
The course is approximately 11kms/ 7miles: Starting at Scalebor Park, climbing up to cross over Moor Road and continue climbing to the high point of Burley Moor near the Shooting Hut, then descending past the Great Skirtful of Stones and fording Coldstone beck before re-crossing Moor Road for the final sprint to the finish line.
The course is primarily on Burley Moor which can be steep, uneven, and muddy but will be well marked with Stewards at key points.
