The Revised 2020 Summer Festival
Update: Annual Moor Run
To round off this year's Festival the organisers of the Annual Moor Run have created an alternative to the traditional run. It's called the "More Time, Moor Run" event, and the full details can be viewed on a separate website:

The 2020 Summer Festival has been very unusual: no programme - no events - no cars - no bands - no children’s play equipment. The list goes on….
What we did have was a village with more people at home and some with more time.
The outcome was 90+ far flung scarecrows on a trail that extended from the Kashmiri Aroma on the Ilkley boundary to Millstone Close on the Bradford Road and at the triangle at Burley Woodhead.
600+ scarecrow trails were bought, and all of them spent time looking at and voting for their favourite scarecrows.
We also had 200 plus treasure hunters who followed the carefully prepared trail through the village finding clues in the most unexpected of places.
150 plus colour quizzes were taken home for people to test their grey matter and 100 plus cryptic challenges were taken to really test thinking 'outside the box'.
Thank you to everyone who built scarecrows and spent many happy hours searching for answers and images in this year's Summer Festival week.
